OB/GYN Billing Services — Specialized RCM for Obstetrics & Gynecology

Accurate billing for global obstetric packages, prenatal visits, deliveries, and gynecologic procedures — handled by billing specialists who know OB/GYN coding inside and out.

Our Specialities

OB/GYN Billing Is One of the Most Complex in Outpatient Medicine

Obstetrics and gynecology billing involves two fundamentally different billing tracks — obstetrics and gynecology — each with its own rules, and obstetric billing in particular has features unlike any other specialty.

The global obstetric package (antepartum care + delivery + postpartum care) bundles multiple services into a single billed code — but tracking which patients have complete versus incomplete global packages, managing care that occurs outside the global (high-risk visits, co-management situations), and handling the financial implications of early pregnancy loss or preterm delivery requires specialty-specific expertise that general billing teams rarely have.

FluxCura’s OB/GYN billing team manages the full scope of obstetric and gynecologic billing — from routine prenatal care to complex deliveries, from annual well-woman exams to major gynecologic surgery.

OB/GYN Billing Services FluxCura Provides

Global Obstetric Package Billing

The global OB package (59400 vaginal delivery, 59510 cesarean delivery, and variants) includes antepartum care, delivery, and postpartum care. FluxCura tracks each patient’s package, manages split/shared global packages when care is divided, and handles partial package billing when a patient transfers care or delivers prematurely.

Antepartum & Prenatal Care Billing

When a patient has fewer than the included antepartum visits (defined by payer), or when a physician provides care for high-risk elements not included in the global, antepartum care is billed per-visit. We identify these situations and bill them correctly.

Delivery & Postpartum Billing

Correct delivery coding based on vaginal (59400–59414), cesarean (59510–59525), and VBAC (59610–59622) delivery type — including complications, multiple gestation, and operative delivery codes. Postpartum visits (59430) are tracked and billed when applicable.

High-Risk Obstetrics (Maternal-Fetal Medicine)

High-risk OB visits, fetal surveillance, biophysical profiles, and consultation services during complicated pregnancies are billed separately from the global package. FluxCura identifies and captures these additional billable services.

Gynecologic Procedure Billing

Hysterectomy, laparoscopy, endometrial ablation, colposcopy, LEEP, IUD insertion, and minor office procedures each have specific coding requirements. We apply correct procedure codes, global periods, and modifiers for all gynecologic services.

Well-Woman & Preventive Care Billing

Annual well-woman exams, Pap smear coding, screening mammography orders, and preventive counseling must be billed correctly to avoid patient cost-sharing surprises. FluxCura ensures preventive and problem-oriented visit billing is separated correctly per ACA rules.

OB/GYN Billing That Captures Every Package, Every Procedure, Every Visit

The complexity of OB/GYN billing rewards specialist expertise. FluxCura ensures your practice captures the full value of every delivery, every procedure, and every billable service — with zero gaps in your global package tracking.
